The Playdate

The Playdate is a small handheld gaming device that’s probably closest to a Gameboy, but with modern internals. The screen is a simple monochromatic LCD, meaning pixels are either on or off. The inputs on the deivce are your typical D-pad, A and B buttons, and the “Crank”, which is an analogue input that reports its position as a measure of degrees, so between 0 and 359.
